Sir Parsley’s world tour November and December 2008

My first stop on my world tour was Hong Kong. This is me looking handsome at the top of the peak. It is certainly smoggy up there.

As I like to fit in wherever I go, I bought a kimono to wear. I also couldn’t resist this photo opportunity!

After my very first trip with William & Sarah to The Venetian in Las Vegas, I convinced them to visit The Venetian in Macau. It is just the same – but I won less money in the casino.

We went to see a big Buddha. We had to travel by cable car and climb so many steps.

Here I am on the cable car back from the big Buddha – starting my 2009 “vehicle” challenge a bit early!

My next stop was Perth, Australia. I quickly adapted to my new surroundings and bought myself a “mankini”. I had a lovely day on the island of Rottnest where the sun shone and I could show off my lovely physique.

As I love to meet the local wildlife, I spend some time socialising with the quokkas. Rottnest is the only place in the world you can find these marsupials, which are a bit like a cross between tiny kangaroos and tiny koalas. They are friendly too!

Then I jetted off to the Gold Coast on the East coast of Australia for a few days. Here I am in the rainforest with the amazing waterfall behind me.

As I am a roving ambassador, naturally I was not at all star struck when I bumped into Robert Kilroy Silk on the day that he was evicted from the “I’m a celebrity get me out of here” jungle. He was delighted to have his photo taken with me and was really impressed with my fundraising exploits.

After all that mingling with the celebs, I needed some reality. So I jetted off to Sydney and visited summer bay – the set of Home and Away. Alf Stewart was out on a life saving expedition so I just had my photo taken outside his surf shop.

Here I am doing my bit for rescue.

I had some time relaxing by Sydney harbour bridge before my next long flight.

After Australia, I had a brief stay in Los Angeles. I thought I would make myself useful by posing as a Christmas fairy on the top of the tree on the very posh Rodeo Drive.

Just in case you were not convinced that I really was on Rodeo Drive…

My final stop before returning to blighty was New York. Here is The Statue of Sir Parsley.

Just one final cheeky shot of me by the Christmas tree at The Rockefeller Centre before my flight home. Personally I think the tree is a bit OTT!
