March 2007 - Around the World in Eighty Eighteen Days |
“I’ve got another booking for you” my agent
told me, “It’s a round the world trip”. It
would be rude not to go! 1 st stop was Tokyo for a guest appearance
at the Japanese wedding of Thomas & Naho….. but
not a drop of sake in sight!
After
the wedding, I climbed the world famous Tokyo tower (it’s bigger than the Eiffel tower you know). This is
me before the big climb … ok, so there was a lift.
The next
day I visited a traditional Japanese temple. This is me snorting
the sacred smoke. I’m not sure the Japanese
had seen a snorting rabbit before.
Next stop was Oz and the big smoke of Sydney. The opera house
was such an amazing venue for me to perform. Here I am after
the show.
The next
day was ‘flop’ time on the beach. I
decided on the most famous – Bondi. The Aussie sheilas
loved my surfing skills.
Needing
some non-human company, I visited a wildlife park. I didn’t really get on with the koala – she didn’t
seem to find my jokes very funny and fell asleep – how
rude!
…but
the kangaroo loved me and even gave me a kiss.
Next stop – the
tropical delight of Fiji. I just kicked off my shoes, slapped
on the factor 30 and got down to some serious sun baking.
The infinity
pool was lush. I was in heaven. This is the life….
My
final stop before returning home to blighty was the glitz and
glamour of Los Angeles. I was born to live here. Here I am
going to Hollywood.
I was finally rewarded for all my efforts as an ambassador
for Bobtails by being presented with my very own star on the
Hollywood walk of fame. Delia and Jim must be so proud.
