March 2008 - Sir Parsley's Fortnight in Paradise
I am so looking forward to this trip to The Maldives. Rhubarb
told me that it is paradise when the sun shines, but when it
rains it really does rain, so I am going prepared.
Well I’ve
arrived and so far so good. I have stopped to pose here in
my spotty swimming pants so you can see how clear the sea
is.
Ah, this
is the life – not a spot of rain in sight.
Here I am relaxing and soaking up the rays on the deck of my
water villa.
Time to
cool off in the sea. I need to be careful that I don’t slip off these steps. I don’t
want to show myself up.
Drying
off after my dip. My swimming pants were too wet and I didn’t
bring a spare pair, so I hid my modesty with a large shell.
I hope there are no crabs living in there!
Oh
no, come back I can’t get out and
the tide will be in soon
I couldn’t believe it. I saw a wild bunny on the golf
course – yes, this was taken in The Maldives. That will
outdo Rhubarb. These Maldivian bunnies look like our Dutch
bunnies. Sadly, he didn’t stay still enough for me to
get closer for a chat.
However, my new friend Ray was much more friendly. You can
also see his wife Raye coming over to say hello too.
