Sir Parsley and Rhubarb go to Cornwall with Wabbity Mel - September
2008
|
|
|
The boys
accompanied me to Cornwall and we stayed in a lovely vegetarian
B&B called Michael House. Vanessa who owns the
place, made a donation to Bobtails.. she has met Sir P before
and is a fan http://www.michael-house.co.uk/index.htm
The boys get ready for the journey and decide there isn't much space in the boot.
|
We
arrive in Cornwall and the boys enjoy a large salad.. after
all, we had just completed a 7 hour drive! |
|
|
Of
course, the boys enjoy plenty of delicious foods and sample
some local specialities, namely vegan pasties!
|
The boys visit a magical fairy wishing pool and the lovely
St. Nectan's Glen, where Sir P cleanses some healing stones for
poorly Uncle M, makes a talisman from holly and leaves and Rhubarb
hangs a special message in the meditation room. Sir P lights
a candle, in memory of all our departed bunnies and friends who
have passed over to the The Bridge.

Sir
Parsley and Rhubarb find an unusual stripey Cornish
wabbit to make friends with. |
St
Nectan's Glen - the walk up to the Waterfall is a little tricky
and you have to pay to get into the Waterfall area (privately
owned) but it is well worth the effort. The Glen is of significant
spiritual significance and many people leave tokens for loved
ones. |
|
|
We like to leave something that won't leave
an impact and will gently rot away, so we found some leaves and
holly. |
The
meditiation room is a place for peace and tranquility and here
we remembered all the bunnies and people who have left us.
Rhubarb wrote as many of our bunnies names as he could manage |
|
|
Sir P had
some quiet time asking the spirits to look after all at Rainbow
Bridge.
|
Rhubarb
makes friend with the wildlife (he likes to talk to the small
creatures we find)
|
|
|
and then he is a bit naughty and tries to
steal the pennies from the 'Hedgehog Tree'.. little rascal. |
