May 2007 - A Gourmet Tour of Cornwall
I
was hoping for a gourmet tour of the wild flowers of Cornwall,
but I'm not sure this trefoil is edible so I'll stick to
smelling it.
The
heather looks fabulous but is a bit on the stringy side.
I'll leave it to the bees.
Wheeee, this red campion is great for hanging
around in! |
Thrift
is a classic cornish coastal plant |
A quick break for a spot of sight seeing at
St Michaels Mount |
Tormentil, good for tooth ache, perhaps I
ought to take some of this home for my bunny friends with teeth
problems! |
Some fabulous ferns at Trebah Gardens
Giant
Rhubarb! Trying out one of the smaller leaves of gunnera at
Trebah |
A bit more site seeing at Wheal Coates tin
mine |
Soaking up the sunshine at Wheal Coates |
