Why not combine rowing in the morning and skiing in the afternoon at Lac Aiguebelette, France's warmest lake (26 degrees Centigrade in the summer).

A self-contained 3 bedroom flat overlooking the lake is available for rent. The rowing club, which is situated right opposite the house, has 1st class facilities and was host to the 1997 world rowing championships.

The rowing club, for a fee of F50.00 (£5.00) per day, gives access to full use of the club. i.e. gym, video room, showers and boats (list of boats available soon) and rowing tank.
