I need to sell my Stampfli 1x. Everyone who has tried out this boat has
ended up buying a Stampfli, I can think of at least 6: I should have asked
the manufacturer for a commission! Here is your opportunity to buy it at
second hand price and still in great condition. This boat would suit a
weight range of 65-75kg (see below) and took me all the way through from
Senior3 improver to successful Scottish Squad trialist.

Condition: Excellent
Colour: Red and white
Name: unnamed - make it your own!
Rigger: Carbon wing
Gates: Offered with MK2 Gates or Concept gates if preferred - I have both.
Weight: Specified at purchase as 60kg but I have been as heavy as 76kg
and it was fine! Pictured below winning the Scottish squad long distance
trial Feb'06: I was 61kg that day and it looks too big so I'd say 65-75kg
is a realistic range.
Reason for sale: Purchased a smaller boat

I can additionally offer a choice of blades - neither of which has ever
been painted so no laborious preparation to worry about!Concept2
Big Blades (as in pic) adjustable- slightly heavier, more flexible - 5
years old at £100 (in my opinion would suit improver
to senior)
Dreher Apex adjustable, smooth faced, very light, speficied as "medium
stiffness", look the business - less than 1 year old, purchase price
was £335, yours for £250 (suit more experienced sculler).

Nick Baker emails with this for sale ad ----- I'm selling my Fillipi 1x. It's a 2002 boat with 2-stay carbon riggers, up to 90kg, and the F14 (racing shape ). It's in immaculate condition. It came with me to the Junior World Champs last year where I raced with it (still has the Sport England stickers) it will come with an official Fillipi cover in perfect condition, a pair of new style Concept 2 big blades (normal spoon size), and a Speed Coach Gold. John Walton writes ----- FOR SALE - Carl Douglas 2-/2x, 78Kg. Complete with black 2- and 2x rigging, 2 standard weight Dreissigacker oars and 4 Hudson "half-hatch" sculls. Photos of boat and oars/sculls available on request. The boat was new in August 1995 but is still in almost as-new condition, having only been raced at Veteran level for 3 seasons or so, as the purchase coincided with the arrival of our first child. The boat has had only one repair - to the spray deck after a minor collision - the repair was done by Carl himself. I'll sell to the first buyer offering more than £5500 for the lot, saving an absolute fortune over a new CD pair/double, which would set you back about £9500 including VAT and the oars and sculls. It was built for her when she was competing internationally, by Edwin Phelps of Putney to measurements provided by Bob Janousek, who was then the National Coach. A guide weight would be 10 1/2 stone. Robinson College Boat Club (Cambridge) is looking to sell a men's VIII. The details are Janousek VIII - Date of construction is January '93 - Average rower weight 13.0st or 82.6kg - Karlisch shape, Janousek shape for almost the past ten years . Fast but easier to balance then a lot of the top boats. - New tracks were put on the boat a week before this year's May bumps, so have barely been used. - A fully working 3 speaker system and stroke seat magnet are installed, they are NK. Cox box is not included in price. - In 2000 Janousek refurbished the shell of the boat. - Currently used by 2nd VIII - Price is £6,500. - Delivery is not included, and must be organised by buyer.
