Rob Oades advises ----- During the school Easter break, Rob Oades and Nick Pollen spent a week in Hazewinkel, Belgium at the International Rowing Centre. They were on a training camp run by Marlow Rowing Club. They joined approx 100 rowers from Marlow, Maidenhead and Clare's Court School in an intensive weeks sculling involving three outings a day plus gym work. Both Rob and Nick had a great but very tiring time and hopefully learned a few things also. Attached are a few pictures Rob took of the Centre - it looks agreat place to train. Thanks to all the coach's involved, especially Russell Peacock of Marlow Rowing Club for inviting the boys and keeping an eye on them during the week.
